According to TRAI data, Reliance Jio has a 36.64 per cent share of the wireless subscriber market, followed by Airtel at 29.60 per cent and Vodafone Idea at 23.59 per cent. According to TRAI, 7.28 million customers have requested for Mobile Number Portability (MNP) in May 2021.

According to Troy, with the addition of new users in May 2021, Reliance Jio’s total subscriber base has increased to 4312 million. At the same time, Airtel lost its total subscriber base to 348 million. In addition, Vodafone-Idea suffered a loss in May 2021 in terms of subscriber numbers. During this time, 42.8 lakh users of the company left him. With this, Vodafone Idea’s total subscriber base has dropped to 277 million.
