Replacing older LG phones with iPhone and Samsung smartphones, the full offer is known

The popular phone maker may have said goodbye to the LG market, but Apple and Samsung have begun offering better offerings to customers with older LG phones. Both companies are allowing customers to exchange old LG phones. Currently, this offering has been launched in South Korea. Apple is one step ahead of Samsung and has made a special offer.

According to media reports, Apple has launched a special event in collaboration with local mobile service providers. Under this, LG users will be awarded 150,000 won (about Rs 9,750) in addition to the smartphone’s trade-in value. This could prove to be good for South Korean LG users. This exchange program for Apple runs until September 25th.

Get new phones instead of old LG phones
LG users can exchange their old phones with the Apple iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini. The exchange offer is only available in the telecom companies’ stores. Apple’s official store is currently unavailable. Samsung is making a similar offer. Samsung’s offer will last until June 30. Users will be able to exchange their old LG phones with the Galaxy S21, Galaxy FoD Fold 2, Galaxy Flip 5G and Galaxy Note 20.

Why Apple and Samsung made the offer
In fact, according to Counterpoint Research, Samsung has a 65 percent market share in South Korea, while Apple holds 21 percent and LG 13 percent. Now that LG’s smartphone business is closed, Apple and Samsung hold 13 per cent.
