Team India batsman Robin Uthappa spoke openly about the sledding of the match between India and Australia on the cricket field. He told how Australian opener Matthew Hayden stopped talking to him about sledging. He reported that he had not spoken to Matthew Hayden for about 2-3 years. After India beat Australia 2–1 in the domestic Test series in 2000, the sledding between the two teams has started to increase since then. The time has come for almost every Indian player to start answering Australia in his own words, ”Uttappa said.
Uthappa, who played his last international match for Team India in 2015, said India and Australia are starting to make a huge sledge. On Saurabh Pant’s YouTube show ‘Wake Up with Saurabh’, Uttappa said, “At the time, there was a lot of sledding in the India-Australia match. Me with Hayden is mine. ‘
He said, ‘Matthew Hayden has inspired me as a person and as a batsman. I learned my walking shot from them. I remember Hayden batting in that match. He told me something, I can’t say it here, and then I answered him. He didn’t talk to me for 2-3 years. Robin Uthappa has played 46 ODIs and 13 T20 Internationals for India.
