Samajwadi Party weighs its power in Uttar Pradesh panchayat elections, prepares electoral arithmetic to cut down opponents

The Samajwadi Party will contest the upcoming panchayat elections in Uttar Pradesh as a prelude to the upcoming assembly elections. The SP will give its strength to the supporting candidates who have fallen without the party’s election symbol, flag and banner. The SP has a strong base of support in the rural areas and the party will continue its preparations for the assembly elections with success in these elections.

Experts say that this time the candidates are free in the panchayat elections and there is no flag or election symbol. But the reality is that all political parties give their parent candidates full power to win. This will enable more and more seating in their bag.

The Socialist Party has begun electoral math at district, block and village level to cut opposition parties. Former Uttar Pradesh chief minister and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav pointed out that the panchayat elections will be taken seriously. At a recent SP workers’ convention in Mirzapur, it was said that the strategy for the panchayat elections was planned. Party leaders believe that the SP is strengthening its political base through panchayat elections.

If the SP gets the lead in the panchayat elections, it will act as the oxygen in the upcoming assembly elections. This will give workers a new impetus and the party will fight the opposition parties with full force. Party sources said that SP chief Akhilesh Yadav will visit the entire state and revive the workers before the panchayat elections.

At the same time, SP district units have begun the process of selecting candidates for the panchayat elections. The top leadership has decided not to intervene. Where there are more candidates, they are free to compete.
