SBI alerts customers Messages related to mobile banking may clear your bank account

State Bank of India (SBI) has warned its customers to provide important information. The bank has asked its customers to be aware of new scams from fraudsters. SBI recently issued a warning when responding to a user comment on Twitter. In fact, a customer of SBI Bank has received a message that his mobile banking account, SBI Yono account has been blocked. In addition, the link is provided in this SMS and it is stated that by clicking on this link, update the PAN card, then you will be able to log in to your account. Note that this message is fake, through which thugs are trying to lure customers into their trap. This way he can withdraw money in his account. If you receive a message from anywhere other than the bank about an account closing, KYC or any other document linking, you will not respond and contact the bank directly about this.

With this, do not click any link in the message sent by unknown number. Explain that people are cheating by using this method and withdrawing money from their account.

SBI has told customers to keep these things in mind
The bank said on Twitter to avoid falling victim to such scams. SBI advised tweet not to provide your personal and personal details such as user id, password, debit card number, PIN, CVV, OTP etc. in email / sms / calls / embedded links. For any fraud on our part, please report it by email at phishing@sbi.co.in. Also give details of the Phishing / Smashing / Wish attempt. You can call our helpline number 155260 or contact a local law enforcement agency to report the incident. Explain that the bank never asks its customers over the phone for personal details such as password / OTP / CVV or card number. Never share your account details, debit card number, or Aadhaar card details in your social media posts when you seek help from a bank or register any complaint through social media.
