If you have lost your ATM card or you have forgotten it somewhere and you fear it will not be used, it is best to restrict it in such a situation. State Bank of India has released a number of its customers. It can now easily block ATMs. This number is toll free.

State Bank of India customers can restrict their ATM numbers by calling 1800 112 211 or 1800 425 3800. After calling this toll free number, the last 5 digit number of the ATM card is asked. Their appeal needs to be confirmed. After all the processes are completed your ATM card will be blocked and you will receive a successful SMS on your mobile number.

You can also block through net banking

1- First login to www.onlinesbi.com with username and password.

2- Select the ATM card service then open the E service and go to the block ATM card.

3- Select the account number linked to the lost card.

4- All active and block cards are visible. After this you will see the first four and the last four digits.

5- Select the card you want to block. After reviewing all the information, submit it.

6- You will then need to select an OTP or password in the process.

7- You need to write an OTP password or profile password. Make sure after that.

8- After the entire process, you get a ticket number. Note it in a safe place.
