1- Login to Onlinesbi.com.

2- Click on the ‘eService’ section and go to the ‘Stop Check Payment’ option.

3- Select the account number you gave the check to.

4- Select the Type of Check option.

5- By going to ‘Stop Reason’, click the reason you want to stop payment.

6- This service is not free. In such a case, the service fee will be shown, which will be deducted from your account as soon as you confirm.

7- After clicking submit, check the details again. Make sure after that.

Payment can also be stopped through Yono Bank

1- Login to the SBI Yono App.

2- Go to the checkbook by clicking on the Request option. Select Stop Check.

3- Select Account Number.

4- Write the beginning and last four digits of the check number.

5- Explain why you want to stop paying.

6- Submit. Once the OTP is written on your registered mobile number, the payment process is stopped.

At the same time, if the person wants to stop the payment by going to the bank, then he has to provide the letter with the necessary information explaining the reason.
