Dilip Kumar’s real name is Yusuf Khan and he was born in 1922 in Peshawar, Pakistan before the India-Pakistan split. Dilip Kumar, popularly known as Tragedy King, made his acting debut in the 1944 film Jar Bhata. In 1998 Dilip Kumar was awarded the Nishan-e-Imtiaz of Pakistan.
