Shoaib Akhtar’s big statement, – Jasprit Bumrah will end soon if this continues

Team India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah’s bowling action is always in the spotlight. Many cricket pundits have said that Bumrah’s bowling action increases his chances of injury. Now Shoaib Akhtar, the former fast bowler of Pakistan, has said some important things about Bumrah. Akhtar believes that if it continues as it is today, Bumrah will soon be over. Akhtar opined that Bumrah should not be fielded in every match and should work to manage them.

Even in the sport, Akhtar said, ‘His bowling is based on the action of the front. Such players bowl fast with their backs and shoulders. We were doing side-on bowling and that was our solution, but there was no relief with the front action. If you have a problem with your back, you won’t be able to do anything even if you want to. I have seen Ian Bishop and Shane Bond get worse with the front action. Bumrah should now think in this direction as I play a match and then take a break and go to rehab. They must be managed.

Akhtar said, ‘If you take him to every match, he’ll sit perfectly for a year. Play them in three out of five games. Bumrah needs to handle this one thing if he wants to play for a long time. Bumrah has played 20 Tests, 67 ODIs and 50 T20 Internationals so far. He has taken 83, 108 and 59 wickets respectively in all three formats. In addition, Bumrah is playing all the matches for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
