Amid mounting ulation about entering politics ahead of the West Bengal assembly elections, Cricket Board (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly said he would look at opportunities and see what happens.
Ganguly is resting at his residence in Kolkata after he had angioplasty after a heart attack. They know there are ulation rumors about their involvement in politics, especially with the BJP, from March 27 to April 29, before the eight-stage election.
Ganguly was asked what was next after the cricket administration. So he told India Today, “What happens next, what chance comes, we decide.” Ganguly said his life was full of surprises and ups and downs and he never knew what would happen to them.

Ganguly said that one needs to consider the different things in one’s life. “Opportunities come and you are affected by so many things. We look at your family, lifestyle, work, health, whatever happens,” he said. Asked about questions about not allowing spectators in the Indian Premier League, he said audiences in the league could be a more difficult ‘managerial thing’ than the recently concluded Test series against England.
BCCI has announced that it will not allow viewers access to Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore and Ahmedabad and there will be no home match for any franchise. “We have planned it well and will make it to pieces,” he said. There will be a maximum of three chartered flights per team. We hope to be able to handle it, ”he said. He said there were only two domestic chartered flights for teams on the England tour.
