Stock market broke under selling pressure, Sensex slips 164 points to 52,318

The stock market was under pressure for the second consecutive day. With the loss of 164.11 points, the Sensex closed at 52,318.60 on Thursday and the Nifty fell 41.50 points at 15,680.00. Today the top topper on Nifty is Dr. Reddy’s, Hindalco, Bajaj Auto, Tata Motors and Sun Pharma, but most notably Bajaj Finserv, Britannia, Infosys, Wipro and ShriSment.

The Sensex

Infosys, HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries, HDFC, Bajaj Finserv, L&T, Bajaj Finance, UltraTech Cement and TCS closed down the Sensex. On the other hand, stocks like Bajaj Dr. Reddy, Auto, Maruti, State Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Asian Paints closed with gains.

At dawn

The stock market opened strongly on Thursday. BSE 30-Stock Key Sensitive Index Sensex opened with a gain of 155.79 points at 52,638.50. At the same time, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange also started trading today with green markings. The 50-share NSE Nifty rose 35 points to 15,755.
