Ram Navami, BSE, National Stock Exchange and Foreign Currency Exchange markets will be closed on Wednesday.
The stock market closed the red mark for the second day yesterday. The 30-share Sensex, which had lost 243.62 points, ended at 47,705.80 points and the Nifty traded 63.05 points lower at 14,296.40 points.
Investor perception was strengthened by the government’s announcement of policy measures to curb the growing coronavirus infection in the country during early trading, and on Tuesday the Sensex rose by more than 500 points, while the Nifty rose again to 14,500.
