Prior to the start of the IPL, Sunrisers, led by David Warner, was a big setback for Hyderabad as Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh departed from IPL 2021. He expressed his inability to stay in the corona etiquette for long. This is not the first time Marsh has been excluded from the IPL for some reason. Marsh suffered an ankle injury in the opening match of the Indian Premier League 2020 in September last year and has since left the entire league.
According to ‘Cricbuzz’, they informed BCCI and IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad. Marsh had come to throw the fifth over of the RCB’s innings on September 21 at the Sunrisers’ first game. However, the 29-year-old bowler was able to throw only four balls as his right foot twisted when he stopped Aaron Finch’s drive in his second delivery. Then he can only throw two more balls and stumble from the ground. West Indies’ Jason Holder was selected as the replacement for Marsh.
