The Delhi court will issue its verdict on Wednesday over the plea of wrestler Sushil Kumar seeking special food and supplements inside the jail. Olympic medalist Sushil Kumar is accused of murdering a young wrestler and is in jail.
Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Satveer Singh Lamba has reserved his order after hearing the arguments of the prosecution and defense attorneys. Sushil Kumar is charged with murder, felony manslaughter and kidnapping and has been booked into Mandoli Jail in Delhi.

In the petition, Sushil’s lawyer Pradeep Rana, Kumar Vaibhav and Satvik Mishra said their client would take supplements such as Isolate Whi Protein, Omega-3 Capsules, Joint Capsule, Pre-Workout C4, Multivitamin etc. Refusing to provide these essential items has a negative effect on Sushil’s career because he needs special nutritional supplements and supplements to maintain his health and performance.
However, jail officials said in a reply to the court that Sushil Kumar’s medical condition did not require additional protein in the form of dietary supplements or dietary supplements. Speaking on the matter, advocate Rana said special food and supplements have been requested at Sushil Kumar’s personal cost, which cannot be borne by the jail authorities.

Significantly, on the night of May 4, wrestler Sushil and his accomplices allegedly kidnapped 23-year-old wrestler Sagar Rana and his friends from a flat in the Model Town Police Station in Delhi’s Hat Thrasal Stadium. Hat went to the Thrace Stadium. He went and struck him mercilessly. Sagar was critically injured and Sagar died during treatment. Sushil Kumar was arrested on May 23 and sent to judicial custody on June 2 for nine days. The Delhi Police Crime Branch is investigating a controversial case at Thrasal Stadium.
Police also got CCTV footage of the stadium after the incident. In the CCTV footage, Sushil Sagar and two others are seen beating 20-25 wrestlers and Asoda gang perpetrators. In the video, everyone can be seen hitting Sagar with kicks, punches, sticks, bats and hockey. In the footage, Sushil Sagar and two other victims were also seen running hockey. All the wrestlers and outlaws were captured on the stadium’s CCTV cameras.
