Talakauvery pilgrimage is restricted to devotees – Indian News Live

Madikeri: On October 17 this year, the River Jiva River in Kannady was in Pilgrimage at Talakauri. Kodagu District Collector Anees K Joy said that this time of the Kaveri pilgrimage, pilgrims were restricted due to the increasing number of corona cases.

The pilgrimage will be held in Talakauri in Madikeri taluk without the complication of traditional rituals. Also, the RTPCR Corona Test is mandatory for volunteers and priests at the Pilgrimage. The Police Department will provide a passport for those who report a negative report to undergo a covalent test.

Also, this time of October 17 and 26 Dussera, all the tourist destinations in Kodagu district will be packed. The District Collector has requested the tourists to assist the locals.
