Tata Motors, the country’s largest automaker, today announced the launch of its new electric sedan Tata Tiger for its fleet customers under its new brand ‘Express’. Recently, the company launched the brand under which the company will introduce electric cars to fleet customers of corporate and government departments. This new electric sedan is priced at Rs 9.75 lakh. (Ex-showroom) is scheduled.
All vehicles in the fleet segment are fitted with a beautifully designed badge express. This has been done to distinguish between private and fleet vehicles. The car is now available for booking at select dealerships across the country. The deliveries have now begun with the delivery of the first batch to Gordon Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited, Kolkata.
What’s New Electric Car:
In the Express-T electric car, the company has offered an updated front face, new sharp nose, and a glossy black grille with a new headlight setup. Below the front grille is a blue stripe, which differs from the usual pattern. Its charging socket is now also provided on the front grill. Other active styling highlights include projector LED headlights, LED DRLs and a newly designed Fog Lamp Housing.
Driving range and charging system:
The company has offered it with two different driving range options. It is said that the higher version delivers a driving range of up to 213 km on a single charge, while the lower version offers up to 165 km. Let us tell you that this is an ARAI certified range for testing. The company used a 21.5 kW and 16.5 kW capacity battery pack in this electric sedan. It also has a fast charging system so it can charge up to 0-80 percent in 90 minutes and 110 minutes respectively. You can charge this car with a 15A power socket for home use.
