The best feature of WhatsApp is the ability to send high-quality videos

Soon you will be able to share high quality videos with your friends and family on WhatsApp. According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is currently testing the special feature. Once this feature is brought out, users will be able to set the video as their own before sending it. As of now, users can send videos up to a maximum of 16MB on WhatsApp.

There are three options available to set the video quality
According to the WABetaInfo report, a feature titled ‘Video Upload Quality’ is being offered with WhatsApp’s Android Beta version number 2.21.14.6. This feature allows users to set the quality of the video before sending it. WABetaInfo also shares a screenshot, which states that in the new feature, users get the option of ‘Auto’, ‘High Quality’ and ‘Data Saver’ to set the video quality.

The data saver option works at a slow Internet speed
Auto selection automatically detects the high quality of the video. At the same time, with a high quality option, users will be able to send high-quality videos on WhatsApp. If we talk about data saver, it is more beneficial for users who are lacking high speed internet. Due to slow-internet speeds, video can also be sent with the Data Saver option, but its quality is not good.

It may take time to send high quality video
Videos sent in a high quality setting may take some time to reach the receiver. It depends on the network speed and the hardware of the phone, how fast you can send and download high-quality video. WhatsApp can offer this feature in the app’s storage and data settings option. This feature of WhatsApp is currently under development and the company may roll it out with upcoming updates.
