Taylor took four wickets, including a hat-trick, and then contributed with an unbeaten 43 in batting. His innings included four boundaries. This is the second hat-trick in West Indies women’s cricket history in T20 cricket. Before him, Anissa Mohammed had made this feat against South Africa in 2018. Apart from Taylor, Anisa Mohammed took three wickets, Shamilia Connell took two wickets and Haley Mathews took one wicket for West Indies in Pakistan’s innings.

Taylor dismissed Fatima Sana, Diana Begg and Anam Amin. Stephanie Taylor won the Man of the Match award for her stellar performance. Diana Begg was the most successful bowler for Pakistan during the West Indies innings. He took two wickets for just 17 runs in his four overs. Anam Amin and Nida Dar also took one wicket each. Following the T20 series, the five-match ODI series will now be played between the two teams, starting July 7.
