The CBI has arrested a railway engineering service officer accused of bribery of Rs 1 crore

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested three persons including a railway engineering service officer. He is accused of demanding a bribe of Rs 1 crore. The CBI has raided 20 locations in five states. If the sources are to be believed, then this is a big case of taking such a large amount of money in railways. Currently, CBI officials are investigating the attacks on the bases.

Explain that this is not the first case of arrest of bribing officers in railways. Before that, the CBI drew a red hand in bribing many officers. Last year, the CBI raised Rs 10,000 in the Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan. The chief superintendent of railways was arrested for taking bribes.
