According to a report by the company, the company sold a total of 60,173 units in March, up 84 percent from a year earlier.
In March last year, the company sold 32,630 units. At the same time, the company exported 5,885 units during the period, up from 3,184 units in March last year. The export business is important for the company as it wants to have a presence in other countries and strengthen its hold in the middle segment of the global market.
High demand for this segment:
Looking at the company’s overall sales figures, the peak demand is the 350cc segment. The highest segment of the company’s total sales comprises 88.51 per cent of the bike. This section includes models like the company’s Classic, Meteor, Electra and Bullet. The 650cc segment includes the company’s Continental GT and Interceptor, which accounted for 11.49% of total sales.
On the one hand, sales fell 5 percent compared to February this year, while the company recorded growth in annual sales. Last February, the company sold a total of 69,659 units. But there was an increase in export business compared to the last month of February. The company exported 4,545 units last February alone.
The 350cc division recently launched its Cruiser Bike Meteor. But the leader of this division still remains the classic 350. It is the company’s best-selling bike.
