Mobile phone maker Lava International is set to launch its first 5G smartphone. Lava’s first 5G phone is priced at Rs. Less than 20,000. This 5G smartphone may be close to Diwali in the Indian market. A senior company official said.

Eyes on a 20% stake in the mobile accessories business
Lava International president and business chief Sunil Raina told PTI the company expects to capture 20 per cent market share in the mobile accessories business over the next 2-3 years. According to Raina, when it comes to smartphones, our focus as a company is on the $ 200 (about Rs 15,000) segment. There is 4G in this section. Also, we are working on a 5G product. Our 5G smartphone comes before or during Diwali.

Lava can also bring a new smartwatch
Lava International has product design and manufacturing plants in India. According to Raina, we are completing this entire portfolio by adding an accessory portfolio. The company announced its entry into the wireless accessories segment with the launch of Lava Probuds in May this year. Lava Probuds is developed using MediaTek Iroha chipsets. Raina said the company plans to expand its smartwatch portfolio during the upcoming festival.
