The IFSC code of these bank branches will be changed from July 1

Canara Bank will change the IFSC code of Syndicate Bank from July 1, 2021. The new IFSC URL can be accessed by visiting Canarabank.com/IFSC.html or Canarabank’s website, the statement said. Otherwise, customers of the former syndicate bank will need to get a new checkbook with the changed IFSC and MICR code Let us tell you that in August 2019, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman decided to merge 10 public banks. Now the IFSC code and MICR code of these banks will be changed.

All Syndicate Bank customers are requested to check the updated IFSC code from their branch. Customers will have to use the new Canara IFSC to accept cash through Neft / RTGS / IMPS, the bank said in a statement. The bank has asked customers to update the new IFC code, otherwise the benefits of facilities like NETF / RTGS / IMPS will not be available from July 1
