Union minister Hardeep Puri said that the Madhya Pradesh government will pay a maximum of Rs 31.55 per liter on petrol. But the Rajasthan government has the highest 21.82 per cent in the country. At the same time, the Rajasthan government is paying Rs 29.88 per liter on petrol. And the Maharashtra government is paying Rs 29.55 per liter. The government of Andhra Pradesh is charging Rs 21.78 per liter on diesel and Rs 21.68 per liter on Madhya Pradesh. And Rs. 20.85 per liter from diesel in Maharashtra.

Speaking to Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Rajasthan government’s revenues have risen to Rs 15,199 crore in FY2020-21, compared to Rs 1800 crore in the previous fiscal. The Madhya Pradesh government has earned Rs 1188 crore in the last fiscal, up from Rs 11,908 crore in petrol and diesel.
