Mahindra, the country’s leading automaker, is set to release its new Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) XUV 700 in the domestic market soon. Recently, a teaser of this SUV was also released. Now that the details of this SUV’s engine have been revealed, according to media reports, the SUV will be the most powerful in its segment.
The teaser, which came out a few days ago, shows the largest panoramic sunroof and skyroof of the segment. The company is yet to announce the launch date of the SUV, but is expected to make its world premiere in the second week of July. Begin its booking in August and can be released in the market until October.

The Mahindra XUV 700 will be launched in the market with petrol and diesel engine options. In its petrol variant, the 2.0-liter stallion can make a four-cylinder turbocharged engine. It is capable of producing 200 hp of power. In this sense, this SUV has more than 159 hp of the Hyundai Alcazar in its segment and 143 hp of the MG Hector Plus. This is the most powerful engine the company uses.

On the other hand, in the diesel variant, the company will be offered a 2.2-liter Amhak 4-cylinder diesel engine, producing 185 hp. Even in this segment, the XUV 700 engine proves superior. This is because Alcazar’s diesel engine produces 115 hp and Hector’s engine produces 170 hp. That being said, the company can offer its diesel engine with a 6-speed manual and torque converter automatic transmission gearbox.
The SUV will get a redesigned front grille, new LED daytime running lights with sharp headlamps, modified bumpers and tail lamps, and flush-like door handles. As for the interior, it receives a large touchscreen infotainment system, complete digital instrument cluster, radar-based auxiliary and safety technology, various drive modes, EPB, cruise control, engine start / stop, automatic climate control, bottom steering wheel, leather seats, multiple airbags, wireless Features of charging facility etc.
