Nokia phone maker HMD Global is set to launch its first smartphone in India. The company will be launching a Nokia 5.4 smartphone in the country. Online shopping website Flipkart has confirmed this. Flipkart has revealed that the phone will be coming on the teaser page soon. Also, details regarding the phone’s camera, battery life and processor are shared.
Whatever the price may be
In December last year, the phone was brought to the global market. The basic model price of the phone is 189 euros (about Rs 17,000). The phone comes in color options – Polar Night and Dusk. The smartphone features a punch-hole design display, a rear fingerprint sensor, and a dedicated button for Google Assistant. The latest report said the phone could be launched in India on February 10.

The Nokia 5.4 smartphone has a 6.39-inch HD + display. Its resolution is 720X1560 pixels and the aspect ratio is 19.5: 9. The phone can come in three variants – 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 64GB. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor can be found here. As such, the phone will come with Android 10, though it will soon get Android 11.

The company will be offering four rear camera sensors on this Nokia phone. The phone has a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The 16-megapixel front camera has been offered for selfies. The phone will get a 4,000mAh battery with a USB Type-C port that supports 10W of fast charging.
