Jasraj has taught music in India, Canada and the US. He went on to sing only for Guinchuni films in Bollywood, the first of which was for V Shantaram’s film ‘Girl Sahayardi Ki’, in which he sang Raag Ahir Bhairav ​​as a playback singer. It was composed by Vasant Desai. His second song was for the 1975 film Birbal My Brother. It was composed by Shyam Prabhakar. Jugalbandi was heard in the raja Malakon of Jasraj and Bhimsen Joshi. He then sang a romantic song for the film 1920. The song was composed by Adnan Sami.

Jasraj devised a novel form of Jugalbandi, called ‘Jasrangi’, in the style of the ancient system of ‘fainting’ which consists of a male and a female singer who sing different ragas at one time . Jasraj is also remembered as popularizing semi-classical music styles.
