The new incarnation of Force Gorkha will be released soon; Mahindra Thar will compete with powerful features

There is good news for offroading enthusiasts. Force Motors, the country’s leading automaker, will soon launch its famous sports utility vehicle (SUV) Gorkha BS6 in the domestic market. This next generation Gurkha model was first showcased at the last Auto Expo but for some reason it was delayed in the market. Meanwhile, the corona epidemic forced the company to keep going.

But now the company has officially confirmed that the new Force Gurkha will be launched for sale. According to media reports, the company could make it to market in late September. The company has made some cosmetic changes to its next generation model that is better than the current model.

In it, the company’s logo is presented with new headlamps in the center of the single slot grill with circular daytime running lights. The roofline carrier with attractive fog lights, wheel cladding and blacked side rear view mirrors (ORVM) enhances the look of this SUV.

As for the engine, the company used the new BS6 standard diesel engine with a 2.6 liter capacity. It produces 89bhp of power. The engine is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox and a four-wheel drive (4×4) system. Inside the SUV is offered a black dashboard, circular AC vents, front power windows and a three-spoke steering wheel.

This SUV is also special in terms of safety. The company offers safety features such as Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Dual Airbag, Parking Sensor, Speed ​​Alert. It is too early to say anything about its price before the launch, but experts say the company could release it for between Rs 10 and Rs 15 lakh. The SUV will compete mainly with Mahindra Thar once it hits the market.
