The new Maruti Suzuki Celerio booking for Mar 5000 will start in September

The new Maruti Suzuki Celerio has been waiting a long time. The company may soon launch it in the Indian market. Meanwhile, pre-booking for the new hatchback has begun at some vendors. According to a report by Karandbike, tokens are being taken from customers in different cities from Rs 5,000 to Rs 11,000. However, this is a refundable amount. Some winds were supposed to launch the new Maruti Celerio in July, but due to the second wave of Corona, the launch has been postponed until September 2021.

This is a car design
Maruti Suzuki has been working on the new gen Celerio for some time. Many different images of it have been leaked. If reports are to be believed, the new-gen model will be bigger and get a host of new features along with design and styling updates. The car will see new features such as LED daytime running lamps, alloy wheels, LED taillamps and more.

The feature load is indoor
Speaking of interiors, it can get a new center console, a new outfit and Maruti Suzuki’s smart play infotainment unit that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In addition, features such as multi-functional steering wheel, multi-information display, power adjustable ORVMs, keyless entry, dual front airbag, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensor.

Engine and power
The same 1.0-liter three-cylinder K10B petrol engine can be found in the new generation Maruti Celerio hatchback. It makes 66bhp and 90Nm of torque. It can get a 5-speed manual and Aichlick 5-speed AMT gearbox. CNG variants are also available. The car is said to be powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine from the Wagon R that delivers 82bhp and 113Nm of torque.
