The Puma Company has fulfilled its promise, sending shoes to the entire Zimbabwean cricket team

Footwear company Puma has fulfilled its promise and sent shoes to the Zimbabwean cricket team. Team batsman Ryan Burl posted a picture of the torn shoes on social media, pleading for help. His passionate appeal had a tremendous impact and the Puma Company promised sponsorship for the entire team. Ryan shared a photo of it on his Twitter handle and thanked the company for it.

‘See what’s coming,’ he tweeted. Puma’s brand new shoes can be seen in this photo. In response to Puma’s tweet, Ryan tweeted that he was sending shoes and said the colors of the shoes were expected to match the jersey.

Ryan has played in all three formats for the country

27-year-old Ryan Burl has been associated with the Zimbabwe team since 2017. He has played in three Tests, 18 ODIs and 25 T20s so far for the team. He has added just 24 runs to his account in Tests, scoring 243 runs at an average of 21 in ODIs. Speaking of T20, this player has scored in this format with a better average than Test and ODI. He has scored 349 runs at an average of 25 in the T20.

Zimbabwe recently lost the Test and T20 series against Pakistan

Significantly, Zimbabwe, which achieved ODI international status before the 1983 World Cup, was awarded Test status in 1992 but the team has been fighting internationally for some time. Pakistan recently won the T20 series 2–1 in Zimbabwe.
