Mahindra, the country’s leading automaker, has finally made preparations for the launch of its upcoming new SUV Bolero Neo. The company has also released a teaser video of this new SUV, featuring many things from the inside to the exterior of this SUV. According to reports, the company may release a new Bolero to the market this month.
The new Bolero is based on the company’s current model, the TUV300, and will soon be showrooms. The company has made several major changes to it, which is different from the usual model. It gets a new design headlight, new front bumper and LED daytime running lights. Furthermore, no major changes are expected in the side and rear views. But its front view is sharp and aggressive enough to make it look good.
The new Bolero design is kept a bit simpler than the TUV 300, but is given a rectangular headlight and LED daytime running lights. This includes Mahindra’s traditional 6 slot honey comb grille. It has been given 15-inch alloy wheels, which increase its side profile.
It can be seen in the teaser video that it has two analog dials with a semi-digital instrument cluster and a digital screen. One shows the dial speed and the other shows the engine rpm. The company is expected to offer a new touch screen infotainment system, which can be connected to Apple Car Play and Android Auto. The second row of bench seats is fabricated on its seats so that three people can easily sit on it.
Although the company has not shared any information about its engine, it is believed that the company can use the 1.5-liter turbocharged diesel engine in this SUV. This engine produces 100 hp of power and 240 Nm of torque. This engine can be offered with a 5 speed manual and an automatic transmission gearbox.
What’s the price:
The company can also offer fuel-saving engine start / stop technology in this SUV, which improves its mileage. According to the data, the company may offer the new Bolero Neo slightly above the standard model. Experts say the company could launch it at between Rs 9 and Rs 12 lakh, though it is difficult to say anything about its price before launch.
