Serve vegetables by steaming or half boiling
If you eat vegetables completely or more, make sure you don’t over cook. Doing this reduces their nutrients. But if you leave them uncooked, they can harm your health. When preparing foods, keep in mind that you do not overcook vegetables or leave them raw.
Raw spices are used for roasting and crushing
To boost immunity, roast the standing spices on the pan. You can roast the ginger in a skillet, especially during the winter or rainy season.
Do not filter and use flour
There is fiber in wheat. But most of its fiber is on the brown side. So whenever you use flour, remember to use it without filtering. Brown flour is considered good for health.
Eating cold foods can impair digestive function
Avoid eating cold food. It can affect your digestion. With that in mind, never eat a full stomach. According to Ayurveda, food is easily digested by not eating enough.
Eat less sweet
According to Ayurveda, desserts should be eaten low. You can use honey or jaggery as a sweet substitute. It also protects you from diseases like diabetes.
