Country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki is preparing to renew its vehicle portfolio in the domestic market soon. The company is also testing some models at the moment, which will be introduced soon. According to media reports, the new CNG variants of the best-selling compact sedan, Dzire, will be unveiled by Maruti’s cheaper car Alto. So take a look at Maruti Suzuki’s upcoming cars –
1) – Maruti Dzire CNG:
Maruti Suzuki has announced the launch of its best-selling sedan Maruti DZire, a new CNG variant.
Recently, CNG variants of Maruti Dzire have been identified during testing. Maruti Suzuki is now looking to strengthen its S-CNG portfolio. The company has six models on its CNG cars list, including the Ertiga, Alto, Celerio, WagonR, S-Presto and Eco Van. Except for the Ertiga, most of the company’s CNG models offer mileage of 30 to 32 km per kg. In such a situation, Dzire’s mileage is also expected to be around.
2) – Maruti Celerio:
The company has long been working on the next generation model, the Maruti Suzuki Celerio. According to media reports, the company may soon introduce the car to the market. Unauthorized booking of this car has also been launched at some dealerships in the country. For this, a sum of Rs 5,000 to Rs 11,0000 is being taken. The hatchback was first introduced by the company in 2014. It has been identified during testing on several occasions. According to reports, the company is also using the HireTech platform to make this car, which is larger in size. It can be launched in the market with 1.0 liter K-series and 1.2 liter petrol engine.
3) – Maruti Alto:
The next generation model of Maruti’s cheapest car will be introduced to the market soon. According to media reports, the new Alto is larger in size, giving you more space inside the car. The company is building this car on its famous Hertech platform, on which the S-Presso is built. This new platform helps keep the car strong and reduce its weight. It is expected to receive power from the same 0.8 L engine as the current model, producing 48 PS of power and 69 Nm of torque. It is believed that the company can release it for Rs 3 lakh.
4) – Maruti Vitara Brezza:
The company was first launched in 2016 by division leader Vitara Brezza. At the Auto Expo last year, the company unveiled its new facelift. At this time its diesel variant was discontinued and it was only launched with a petrol engine. Although no information has been shared about its next-gen model, it is believed that the company may provide it with an existing engine and a new chassis frame. Moreover, it can also offer a mild hybrid system, which is why its mileage is even better.
