TMC MP Saugata Roy claims after meeting with TMC MP that he will not go to BJP

Trinamool Congress MP Saugata Rai said on Tuesday that the party’s disgruntled legislator has been persuaded to do so. He met with the party’s leading leaders. The official has recently resigned from the Cabinet due to disagreements with the party leadership, following rumors that he will join the BJP.

TMC MP Saugata Rai said he (the officer) was not joining the BJP after meeting with Subhendu. He said, “It’s a silly idea. I had a meaningful meeting today with Prashant Kishore, Sudeep Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee. Now things have settled down.

Nandigram was the official face of the anti-land agitation movement and Mamata Banerjee came to power in 2011 from this movement. But he has not renounced his primary membership in the Trinamool Congress.

Earlier on Friday, the officer said he would stand on behalf of the people of his constituency. In Nandigram in East Medinipur district, the officer said he was looking for an opportunity to visit the area. I will continue to work for the welfare of Nandigram and its people.
