Like every year, WhatsApp is rolling out new features to its billion users this year. The company has been working on some new and exciting features for a long time. The company is trying to improve the user’s chat experience with new features. Here we are telling you about the top 5 features to come this year that will double the running of WhatsApp.

Instagram reels can be viewed on WhatsApp
This proves to be quite an entertaining feature for WhatsApp users. What’s special is that users are able to view Instagram reels from their WhatsApp account. Instagram Reels is a small video making platform that has become increasingly popular in India after the ticktack ban.

Photos disappear automatically from chat
The name of this upcoming feature of WhatsApp is the disappearing images and this could be whatsapp’s self-destructive message. After the introduction of this feature, users will be able to set the time of automatically deleting photos sent in a chat. The company is currently working on this feature. It can be released this year for Android and iOS.

Multi-device support
Users have been waiting a lot for this feature of WhatsApp. After the rollout of this feature, users will be able to access their WhatsApp account on more than one device. As of now, the company currently offers simultaneous login on two devices (one mobile and one desktop). A special feature of the multi-device feature is that it allows users to access their WhatsApp account on up to four devices at once. This feature is currently under development and has been found several times in the beta version. The feature is expected to be rolled out for global users soon.

WhatsApp Logout
With the introduction of the multi-device feature, the company is also introducing a ‘log out’ option. Currently, users only get the option to delete an account instead of logging out on WhatsApp. With the help of the logout feature, users will be able to log out of their device account as needed after multi-device login. Recently this feature has been identified in the new beta version. The company brings it out for Android and iOS.

Chats are permanently archived
This feature proves very useful for users who want to ignore their messages and notifications without blocking any of their contacts. The existing archive feature pulls the chat to the bottom of the chat list, but the new message appears in the main chat list as soon as it arrives. The new archive feature is that it does not appear in the main chat list even when a new message arrives. The company is rolling out this feature in the beta version and its stable version may be released in the near future.
