UP: A tragic road accident in Kaushambi, truck returning with sand, returning from a wedding ceremony, 8 dead

A major road accident occurred in Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday morning. A sand-filled truck in the Scorpio was pulled into the Deviganj erskad in Kadadam Kotwali area of ​​the district at around 3:30 am today. Eight people died on the spot. At the same time, two of the hospitalized were injured. That being said, all the people riding the Scorpio were returning from the wedding ceremony.

Police officers, including Kaushambi’s DM, reached the spot after information of the accident. The police-administration team reached the spot and removed the truck with the help of a crane. The accident happened around 3:30 p.m., the DM said. He said the truck’s tires exploded, causing the Scorpio to topple. Eight people were killed and two seriously injured in the crash. The dead included six women and two children from a family of three.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has condoled this road accident. He condoled the families of the dead and prayed for the peace of the departed souls.
