The notice of the board states that the application number of the candidates is their registration number. Candidates can enter their application number / registration number and search the district information assigned to the written examination. Candidates’ admissions will be uploaded on the Board’s website 7 days before the written examination date, and candidates can download and enter their registration number and date of birth. Candidates can call the help center if they have any problem.
Negative identity
The exam will have a negative mark. “There is no negative mark,” said Vijay Bhushan, the additional secretary of the board, in a statement issued by the Offline Written Examination papers on December 19 and 20. The board has also provided a description on its website. It has been made clear to all candidates that negative marks will be awarded on the written test.
Tight security
Offline written testing is tight security. It will be conducted in 335 test centers established in 10 districts of the state. For the sake of security, one inspector and two sub-inspectors will be assigned at each center. Senior police officers of the district are also constantly taking stock of examination centers. CCTV cameras will be installed at all centers and biometric attendance of each candidate will be taken so that no person other than the candidate can sit the examination.
Help Center
A maximum of 72 centers have been set up in Lucknow. Subsequently, 65 testing centers have been set up in Prayagaraj, 58 in Varanasi, 56 in Kanpur, 35 in Gorakhpur, 30 in Agra, eight in Bareilly, five in Ghaziabad and three in Meerut and Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida). The recruitment includes 3638 posts of prison warders (3012 men and 628 women), 2085 firefighters in the fire department, and 102 posts of constable cavalry police. An ad for this was released in 2016.
