UP Teacher Recruitment 2021: Immediate admission to 1894 posts in subsidized junior high schools, CTET or TET compulsory, qualified

Preparations for the recruitment of 1894 posts in 3049 unaided junior high schools in Uttar Pradesh. The proposal to appoint 390 Principals and 1504 Assistant Teachers posts has been forwarded to the Government by the Additional Director’s Office in the Directorate of Education. Due to the non-constitutionality of the Uttar Pradesh Education Services Selection Commission, a written examination for the appointment will be conducted through the Office of the Regulatory Authority.

According to sources, the recruitment process will begin in the second week of February. On 4 December 2019, the state government ratified the Seventh Amendment of the Uttar Pradesh Accredited Basic School (Recruitment and Terms of Service of Junior High School Teachers). After that, the recruiter was unable to start despite all efforts.

Meanwhile, the manager of a school in Fatehpur’s junior high schools filed a petition to the High Court over the lack of teachers. The High Court is serious. Officials from the Department of Basic Education are preparing to begin recruiting soon. About four thousand vacancies have been mentioned in the past, but 1894 vacancies have been reported after vacancies were received by districts according to RTE standards.

The appointment will be based on merit
Written examination is mandatory for recruitment. Former school managers were hired with the approval of the original education authorities. According to the revised rules, for eligibility for teacher appointment, the candidate receives 10-10 percentage points for high school, intermediate, graduate and training (BTC / B.Ed or equivalent). 60% marks will be charged for marks obtained in the Teacher Recruitment Test. It is compulsory to pass the TET or CTET, at no additional charge of its points.

The clerk and peon are not appointed
These schools are currently preparing to hire principals and assistant teachers. Clerks and peons are not appointed. Like the council schools, school switches are done by the village panchayat and municipal cleaning staff.
