UPSC Civil Services Exam 2021 Notification Released, Find Out Special Issues including Eligibility, Application and Special Dates

UPSC Civil Services Notification 2021: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued Civil Services Exam Notification (Prelims) – 2021. Youths who wish to become IAS, IPS, IRS and IFS can apply online by 20 March 2021 by visiting www.upsc.gov.in or www.upsconline.nic.in. Through this examination, officers will be selected for the All India Services including Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS). The Civil Services Prelims Exam will be held only on 27 June 2021. According to the calendar, the UPSC was supposed to issue the Civil Services Examination 2021 notification on February 10. However, the Supreme Court hanging on the issue of additional provision delayed the notification of the Commission. On February 24, the Supreme Court ruled in its decision that the UPSC refused to grant compensation to applicants seeking additional opportunity for civil services examination, for whom the age limit on the previous examination had been over. The Supreme Court has dismissed all appeals of civil service candidates seeking additional opportunity to appear for the civil services pre-exam this year.

Eligibility: Degree in any discipline from a recognized university / institution.
– Students attending the final examination of the Bachelor’s Degree Course may fill the application form Such candidates are required to provide proof of Bachelor’s degree when filling out the Civil Services (Main Examination) Form.

Age limit
– Minimum age – 21 years. Maximum age should be less than 32 years. Candidate should not be born before August 02, 1989 and August 01, 2000.
At the maximum age limit, the candidates of the OBC class will be three years, the SC / ST five years and the physically handicapped class candidates 10 years.

Application Fee
– 100 rupees. Payment must be made by cash or net banking or MasterCard / Debit Card at any branch of State Bank. The payment option is available during the online application process.
– SC, ST, Physical Disabled and Female candidates need not pay any fee.

Option
All applicants for the UPSC Civil Services exam must first sit for the prelims exam. Candidates are called to sit the main exam. He who passes the Mains reaches the interview (personality test). The final qualification list is prepared based on interviews and achievement in the main exam. The men’s test is 1750 points and the interview is 275 points.
