Vijay Shekhar Sharma, founder of PayTM, offers scholarships to two Indian students who each year conduct research at the Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute (LMSAI) at Harvard University.
The company gave this information on Monday. Sharma’s ‘gift’ will enable the organization to better meet its research and education goals on cultural and global issues related to South Asia, the company said in a statement.
It supports the activities and research of the LMSAI.
