Young Trinidad and Tobago fast bowler Jaden Seals has been named in the West Indies’ 17-man squad for the two-Test series against South Africa starting Thursday. The final 13-man squad will be selected on Monday. The selection committee said the speedy Chemer Holder was not available for selection due to injury.

“The fast bowler Chemar Holder is unable to play due to injury,” the cricket West Indies said. Nineteen-year-old fast bowler Jaden Seals has been named in the Test squad for the first time. Seals has only played ten professional matches, one first-class match, three List-A matches and six T20s. There will be two Tests from June 10 to 14 and June 18 to 22.
