Why Suryakumar Yadav can be included in Team India in T20 World Cup: VVS Laxman

Former India cricketer VVS Laxman has suggested that Suryakumar Yadav should take a place in India in the upcoming T20 World Cup. The T20 World Cup will be held in the UAE from October 17 this year. He believes Suryakumar should play in all six matches in the limited-overs series against Sri Lanka. Surya Kumar, who played for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL, made his India debut in a limited-overs series against England this year.

Impressed with the performance of the T20 series, Suryakumar became a strong contender for India’s place in the T20 World Cup. However, the first phase of IPL 2021 is not special to them. But Laxman feels that playing internationally will boost Suryakumar’s confidence. During a debate on Star Sports, Laxman said, ‘This is a great opportunity. I want them all to play 6 matches, 3 ODIs and 3 T20s. Because he is definitely a player for the T20 World Cup.

Watching Virat Kohli at IPL 2008, Kamran Akmal said, ‘Ye ka cricket Khelaga’

“I want Suryakumar Yadav to run internationally and gain confidence,” he said. (Suryakumar Yadav and Ishaan Kishan) both took advantage of the opportunities, he said. The way Suryakumar Yadav batted in the third spot, I was really excited. The manner in which he hit six internationals against a quality fast bowler like Joffra Archer, which shows his confidence, skill and talent.
