South African head coach Mark Boucher has suggested that AB de Villiers has returned to international cricket. He said the legendary players could return to international cricket ahead of the T20 World Cup this year. Boucher revealed that I had a conversation with De Villiers before the start of IPL 2021. Boucher said the conversation is still very open. After the end of IPL 2021, he will be back in touch with de Villiers.
Boucher said, “I talked to him before he moved to the IPL. The conversation is quite open now. AB wants to do his best to prove himself in the IPL. He is still in the world. Boucher told reporters that he told de Villiers “Do your job and I’ll talk to you in the latter part of the IPL.”
The 37-year-old AB de Villiers debuted in IPL 2021. He scored 48 runs in the opening match against Mumbai Indians while playing for RCB.
