Will Mamata’s troubles increase? Another political party landed before the Bengal elections

The West Bengal assembly elections are due to take place in April-May, and before that, the administration is not taking any name to reduce the TMC problems of M Mamata Banerjee. Mamta has split from another militia party after a white officer and has formed his own party. On Thursday, Pirzada Abbas Siddiqui of Farfura Sharif Dargah announced his party in Kolkata. The party is named the Indian Secular Front (ISF).

Pirzada Abbas Siddiqui, a prominent figure in Muslim voters, had earlier announced the formation of a separate party. AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi also met Pirzada this month. Siddiqui was considered close to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. However, he was openly opposed to TMC for some time and was also an attacker against CM Mamata Banerjee.

The AIIMM entered the Bengal elections and now the Abbas Siddiqui’s separate organization can change the state’s electoral equation. Elections to the West Bengal 294-member assembly will be held in April-May.

The Furfura Sharif Dargah is believed to have a significant impact in South Bengal. During the Left Front government, Mamata Banerjee made two big movements like Singur and Nandigram with the help of this dargah. There are about 30 percent Muslim voters in Bengal. At least 24 percent of these are Bengali-speaking Muslims. Farfura Sharif Dargah, which is associated with Pirzada Abbas Siddiqui and has a significant impact on this Muslim vote bank.

Will Owaisi-Pirzada ruin the Mamata game?
Earlier this month, AIIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi had arrived in Bengal. During this time he reached Farfura Sharif in Hooghly district and discussed with the Muslim leader Abbas Siddiqui about the political situation in the state and the upcoming assembly elections. It was noted that this was OYC’s first visit to Bengal following the announcement of contesting elections in the state. According to sources, there was discussion between the two about contesting the Bengal elections and sharing seats.
