Mahindra today unveiled its new SUV XUV700. The company has introduced this SUV to the Indian and global markets. Mahindra has offered several segment first features in this SUV. Many of these features include flush door handles and auto booster lamps. The XUV700 is the company’s first SUV, introduced with Mahindra’s new ‘Twin Peaked’ logo. The company will launch the XUV700 in October this year.
Good engine and power
The Mahindra XUV700 is available in two engine options. Its mHawk diesel engine (manual) produces 185PS of power as well as 420Nm of torque. At the same time, the automatic variant that comes with this engine gets 450Nm of torque. Dhansu High Design and Look
In terms of design and appearance, this SUV is quite powerful and, if seen, it would be one of the best in this segment for road presence. The vertical bar on the front grille offered in the SUV makes it look sloping outward. In it you can see new design headlamps that come with very large C shaped DRLs. These DRLs go up to the bumper. The SUV gets a pop-out door handle that hides in the body. The twin has five-spoke alloy wheels, and the XUV700 gets massive and angled taillights, which make its rear look very premium.
Lots of features indoors
Speaking of the interior, here you get a 10.25-inch dual-screen design on the dashboard. One is used for infotainment and the other serves as an instrument cluster. Notably, the company is offering a brand new AdrenoX interface in the infotainment system, which comes with the built-in Amazon Alexa Virtual Assistant.
12 speakers and 3D surround sound for strong sound
The XUV700 features a 12-speaker setup for a powerful sound experience, including a subwoofer fitted with Sony’s 3D surround sound. For connectivity, this SUV also features a wireless charger with Android Auto and Apple Car Play. The XUV 700 offers features like the Panoramic Sun Roof, Dual Zone Automatic Climate Control and Auto-Booster Headlights with Electronic Parking Brake.
