In a photo shared by Dinesh Karthik, sunlight is seen in Southampton. He wrote, ‘On the final day the weather is clear. Good day for the match. Speaking of the match, Team India’s first innings was reduced to 217 runs. After that New Zealand scored 249 in the first innings. Kyle Jamison took five wickets in the first innings while Team India fast bowler Mohammed Shami took four wickets during New Zealand’s innings.

New Zealand’s score was 117 twice in the first innings, but then India’s fast bowlers regained Team India and put the Kiwis together for 249. India were 64 for two in the second innings. India are currently 32 runs ahead. On reserve day, all three results of the match seem possible. India can win if they make a quick run to New Zealand with a good score. If New Zealand set a low target by scoring India’s second innings early, New Zealand could win and if the strategy of both teams did not prove effective, the game could be drawn.
