Former India fast bowler Zaheer Khan praised Jaspreet Bumrah’s all-round performance on the final day of the Lord’s Test. He said the way Bumrah used his anger against the English side was amazing. He advised Bumrah that if he was better off getting angry on the field, he should keep twisting on the field.

In a conversation with Zaheer Khan Krikbazz said, “If Jaspreet Bumrah angrily goes out to perform like this on the field, he must at times confuse it. He did not get a wicket in the first innings. And the way all England players followed him, then all these things will definitely inspire you to do better and he used his anger in the right place.

In the second innings of India, Bumrah shared an unbeaten 89 with Shami. Significantly, India won the Lord’s Test by 151 runs and took a 1-0 lead in a five-match series against England. Bumrah took three wickets in the second innings. He dismissed Rory Burns in the first over of the innings. After that, in the 23rd over, he dismissed England captain Joe Root for 33. In the 51st over, Bumrah dismissed Oli Robinson in a slow off cutter.

Zaheer added, ‘The slow ball that Jalipreet Bumrah threw to Oli Robinson was really amazing. It was not easy for the right-hand batsman to get around the wicket but Bumrah took the ball slowly to the crease and took the lead for India. Mohammed Siraj struck out four England players in the second innings.
