Police have arrested three gangsters of the Lawrence Bishnoi-Kala Jathedi gang following a Thursday night encounter on the main road of the capital, Delhi’s Gummanheda-Najafgadh. The three arrested have been identified as Wasim Khan, Najim Ali Najim and Pankaj.

Lawrence Bishnoi and three members of the Kala Jathedi Gang were informed by reliable sources about police approaching the main road of Ghummanheda-Najafgarh. Soon after, the police trapped them. When the three perpetrators reached there, the police team told them to stop. Meanwhile, the perpetrators opened fire on the police team. At the same time, the police retaliated and arrested the three perpetrators.

The two accused were shot in the leg after several rounds were fired from both sides, police said. All these accused are wanted in the murder of Narela resident and passenger Shahabaz.

The accused Pankaj alias Vicky received parole in April 2020 and in September 2020 he killed a young man named Dhol Libaspur in the village of Lipaspur with his accomplices.

In this case, a fight broke out between Sandeep Libaspur and Dhol, as Dhole slapped Sandeep’s father and committed suicide and Sandeep was taking revenge. So he killed Dhol with his companions. Pankaj, along with his colleagues, opened fire on a man in Bawana, police said. The injured accused has been hospitalized for treatment.

Police have seized two accused .32 bore semi-automatic pistols, 4 live cartridges, one local cartridge and 2 live cartridges and one stolen car from Rajasthan.
