Milk, eggs and poultry will also be expensive after vegetables, know why the price goes up

In the coming months, the burden of inflation may increase further on the general public. This is because milk, egg and poultry prices are likely to rise in the next few months after the increase in prices of vegetables and food.

Ramesh Khatri, national president of the Poultry Federation of India, told Hindustan that the poultry business has been badly affected by the corona epidemic, lockdown and bird flu. This has severely affected the supply of eggs from poultry. Hotels, restaurants and quarters have now opened. The third demand comes from hotels, restaurants, eggs, poultry and milk. In such a situation, demand will increase, but that supply is unlikely to increase. This is sure to affect the price of eggs and poultry. The price of egg-poultry has already begun to rise. Egg prices have gone up from Rs 3.50 to Rs 3.75 in the last one week. At the same time, chicken has gone up from Rs 75 to Rs 85 per kg. Another reason for the price increase is the increase in freight. 90% of eggs and poultry are transported by road. Commodities have increased with the increase in diesel prices, which has increased the cost of logistics. This has increased production costs. Because of this, the price of chicken will cross Rs 100 in the next three to six months. This means that the current price of chicken can increase by 25 to 30 percent. Egg prices can be increased by 10 to 15 percent.

Milk will also be expensive

Milk will also be expensive in the coming days. In fact, according to the Ratnam Milk Producers Association, a meeting of 25 villages was held on Tuesday and agreed to raise the price of milk. Milk producers have insisted on raising the price of milk last year but let us know that the price of milk has not been increased by the corona virus. On the other hand, milk producers have announced price increases as opposed to agricultural laws. This could affect Delhi-NCR in the coming days. On the other hand, an Amul official said milk production costs have increased. In such a situation, the decision to increase the price will be taken in the following days.

Revenues decreased and expenses increased

Due to the corona crisis, income on the one hand has decreased and on the other hand, the household expenditure budget has increased rapidly, said housewife Ranju Kumari, who lives in Noida. Prices of all essential commodities, including LPG, edible oil, flour, rice, fruits and vegetables, rose by 20 to 30 per cent. Because of this, the budget for household expenses has increased a lot. It’s getting harder to drive home.
