PSL 2021: The rest of the tournament will be played this month, not May

Pakistan Super League (PSL) has to postpone mid-2021 due to the rise of the Kovid-19 epidemic. By the time of the current PSL season, nearly seven players and support staff had been positive in the Kovid-19 Test, which was later postponed due to player safety. The rest of the matches were believed to be played in May, but now the news comes that the rest of the PSL will be held in June.

The decision was taken at a virtual meeting on Thursday between Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and various franchise teams, and all sides were delighted with the resumption of the tournament in Karachi in two and a half months. The PCB is also working to rebuild its Corona virus protocol, which was discontinued last week.

A committee was formed on the subject, which helped the PCB to know how the infection spread to the bio-bubble (bio-safe). The committee has instructed the board to take stringent security measures so that it does not happen again.
