Kejriwal said Rakesh Jain was also infected with corona during his COVID duty. He was admitted to Metro Hospital in Preet Vihar for treatment on June 17 but was not saved and was martyred on June 18, but he served the citizens of Delhi till his last breath. The Delhi government salutes the frontline workers who have worked tirelessly for the citizens of Delhi.
Today on behalf of the Delhi government, I handed over a check of Rs 1 crore to Rakesh Jain’s family members. The Chief Minister said that the people continued to serve till their last breath. He said money doesn’t cost anyone’s life, but I hope this financial aid helps their family.
Over the past year, a large number of doctors, nurses and other health workers and frontline workers have been infected with corona, and some of them have even died.
Kejriwal said Jain’s eldest son had just graduated and was looking for a job. The Delhi government will also work for her son. I want to make sure that the Delhi government stays with Rakesh Jain’s family when they are needed in the future.
